Congregants at Kyamugamba Catholic Church located in a trading center known as Wairagaza Butoole parish, Kyangwali sub county kikuube district were left looking for refugee in fear of their lives after a loud bang rather explosion allegedly of a teargas canister went off during a church service.

Reports coming in say congregants scattered for their lives midway through the usual Sunday service and its believed two were seriously injured during this confusion and were rushed to the nearby clinic for medication.
It’s also believed that two arrests were made immediately just after this chaos happened and are believed to be in connection with this blust. According to region spokesman Mr Julius Hakiza.
It’s believed the police with the first responders rushed to the scene thinking it was a real bomb at first and later it was confirmed as a teargas canister.
When this teargas canister blew, congregants scattered for their lives and we later restored the situation and urged these people of God to proceed with the service.
And the two suspects that are linked to this confusion are going to tell us where they got this teargas canister.
