Cristiano Ronaldo Accused Of Committing A Sexual Offence In Iran

Reports have been circulating on social media that Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly committed a sexual offense in Iran. It was further reported that he faces a punishment of 99 lashes for adultery.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United footballer travelled with his Saudi Pro League team Al Nassr to Iran last month. They played Persepolis in the AFC Champions League and won the game 2-0.

Loads of people turned up on the Iranian streets to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the football superstar. A lucky painter who is physically disadvantaged got the chance to meet the 38-year-old.

She had painted pictures of the footballer. As a result, Ronaldo kissed her on the cheek amd hugged her as a token of appreciation.

Well, touching a married woman in the Middle Eastern country is equivalent to adultery. It was from here that reports started making rounds about how the 5 time Ballon D’or winner had violated Iranian laws.

“Cristiano Ronaldo could face a sentence of “99 lashes for adultery” the next time he visits Iran. this is because of a photo with a painter where he hugged and kissed her on the cheek. In Iranian law, touching a married woman is equivalent to adultery.”

However, contact with the Iranian embassy in Spain denied these allegations. It said that Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be charged with anything in regard to this case.

Therefore, this rumor making rounds on social media is not true.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo scored a brace yesterday against Slovakia to inspire Portugal to their 6th consecutive appearance at the UEFA Euros.
