The singer has been doing shows for some time. He started them when he joined television, especially those that bring students closer.
Like any other television presenter, they have a close relationship with artistes. Most of the time they help each other to grow.
Some artistes have been brought up by television presenters who have managed to give them a platform to showcase their talent. And with their help, they have become bigger artistes in Uganda.
But they tend to always forget the people that gave them platforms. That’s why Crysto Panda gets disappointed in some artistes that he helped rise on their feet.
According to Crysto Panda, he has never asked any Ugandan artiste money to be hosted on his show or get an interview from him.
However, when he invites these artistes to show up at his concerts to even sing one song, they immediately ask for money from him.
He said in Uganda’s entertainment industry, they need to come in for each other in order to grow. Otherwise, people will keep wondering why Uganda is behind in entertainment.
“I am a TV Presenter but I have never asked any artiste for any penny to play their song. But musicians ask me for money when I invite them to perform at my concert. We need to come through for each other for the industry to grow,” – he said.
