According to this singer, Ssengozi Emmanuel of the Nansikombi song, he got noticed by a fan overseas after he sang well in the Yolesa Ekitone talent show. This fan promised to fund his career if he channeled to a trending genre.
Ssengonzi wrote a song that his sponsor liked and asked him to look for a producer of his choice. He, therefore, chose Andre and they went ahead to pay him the full amount.
Andre then told Ssengonzi to find him at Black Market Records. However, on reaching there Andre wasn’t there but instructed him on who to pay.
“I was noticed at the Yolesa Ekitone and a fan liked me. He started financing my career and told me to look for a good producer and I went to Andre. When I contacted Andre, he told me to find him at Black Market Records which I did but he wasn’t there. He told me who to pay and they gave me a studio session. It’s now 4 months and I haven’t gotten my song. Whenever I used to call him, he would feed me on excuses. Now he no longer picks up my calls. The only option I’m left with is forwarding the matter to the authorities,” the singer said.
In some of the voice notes shared by the singer from Andre, the producer is heard telling him how he sounded awful in studio.
He even tells him to come back for recording because the first session was very bad. Andre is yet to comment on the allegations.
