Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platnumz expressed his amazement upon arriving in Rwashameire, Ntungamo for the Coffee Marathon and Concert. The Bongo Flava maestro was greeted by a well-organized event at the Africa Coffee Park, where he landed by helicopter.
After being chauffeured to the Africa Coffee beach on Lake Nyabihoko, Diamond Platnumz shared his astonishment at the level of preparation and organization.
He commended the venue setup and stage, highlighting the pride it brings not only to Uganda but to the entire East African region.
Ceremonial activities and development plans
During a press conference attended by fellow artists like The Ben, Bebe Cool, Sister Charity, and Truth 265, Diamond Platnumz participated in a symbolic coffee planting ceremony overlooking the lake.
The Africa Coffee beach, developed by businessman Nelson Tugume, features a coffee plantation, luxury cottages, lake islands, and an airstrip, emphasizing agro-tourism.
Singer Bebe Cool emphasized the significance of the multi-billion project as a beacon of hope for economic transformation in Uganda.
Reflecting on the country’s potential, Bebe Cool encouraged a shift in mindset towards self-belief and confidence, highlighting the importance of realizing Uganda’s capabilities.
In other news earlier published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, the president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) singer Eddy Kenzo recently held an introduction ceremony. He was being introduced by his fiancé and mother to his son Hon Minister Phiona Nyamutooro.
