Different Artistes Congratulate Azawi On Successful Maiden Concert

Ugandan female singer, Priscilla Zawedde aka Azawi, seems to be the football version of Chelsea and French star, Ng’olo Kante.

That person that everybody seems to love and has no hater. Of course, the haters are always there but the love supersedes them.

This was evident for the Swangz Avenue singer after holding her much anticipated album yesterday. And a number of artists have taken to different social media platforms to congratulate her.

The Quinamino singer really put up an electrifying performance and the fans who had turned up in huge numbers caught the vibe too. These sang along to almost each and every song of hers.

Everything just seemed on point for this show. The stage, the lighting, choreography and lineup of performers. Dubbed the future of Ugandan music, she stepped up and thanked the fans for loving her unconditionally.

Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold took to his Twitter page to congratulate Azawi. This was after Ugandan artists crying that Nigerians are pushing them out of the business.

“Congratulations Azawi,” tweeted Adekunle Gold.

“Azawi uganda loves you…. Take tht to the bank,” said Ykee Benda.

A number of artists and other personalities are continuing to congratulate Azawi on this milestone. She was supposed to have had a concert earlier but COVID-19 pandemic came into the mix.

Seems to have been a blessing in disguise for her as she released her hit album, African Music.

A number of performers curtain raised for Azawi and these included the likes of Zex Bilangilangi, Karole Kasita, Grenade Official etc. However, the most notable performance was from her label mate, Winnie Nwagi.

Nwagi has been applauded for putting up such a great show like it was her own concert. Next will be Vinka and Winnie Nwagi launching their own music.
