Dinosaur Bone Rich Ranch In Colorado Sold For Whopping $ 14 million

A Colorado ranch that boasts a treasure trove of dinosaur bones has been sold for a staggering $14 million, in what can only be described as a “dino-mite deal“.

The sale of the ranch, which is located in the western part of the state, has caused quite a stir in the paleontology community, as it is known to be one of the most significant dinosaur fossil sites in the world.

This transaction which closed earlier this month not only marked the end of the ranch’s ownership by a New Orleans estate for over half a century but also paved the way for a new chapter in its history as reported by the daily mail.

The ranch has been owned by the same family for over a century, and during that time, they have discovered and excavated an impressive number of dinosaur fossils.

Meanwhile the ranch spanning approximately 110,000 acres with 20,000 acres being deeded and remainder available for cattle grazing, captivated the attention of home developer Chris Kaclik and his partner who have pledged to maintain it’s functioning as a ranch.

The new investors hope to make new discoveries

In fact, the site is so rich in fossils that it has been designated as a National Natural Landmark by the US Department of the Interior.

The new owners of the ranch are said to be a group of investors who plan to continue the tradition of paleontological research and excavation at the site.

They have stated that they hope to make new discoveries and contribute to the scientific understanding of the prehistoric creatures that once roamed the area.

The sale of the ranch is a significant event for the scientific community, as it ensures that the site will continue to be studied and explored for years to come.

It also highlights the importance of preserving our natural history and the need to support scientific research, even in the midst of economic uncertainty.
