Donald Trump To Deploy Troops Everywhere In LA Over Raid Protests

After two days of intense protests following immigration raids, a dramatic clash erupted outside a detention center in Los Angeles on Sunday. President Donald Trump sent National Guard troops across the city to bring back peace and order.

President Trump stressed the urgent need for “very strong law and order” in Los Angeles. He deployed 300 soldiers from the 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team to protect federal properties in different parts of greater Los Angeles, ensuring the safety of federal property and personnel.

At a federal detention center in downtown Los Angeles, troops in helmets, armed with guns, stood alongside Department of Homeland Security forces.

Pepper spray and tear gas were used to disperse protesters, including journalists, allowing a convoy of vehicles to enter the detention center.

Ensuring peace Nationwide: President Trump’s forward vision

Looking ahead, President Donald Trump hinted at the possibility of sending troops to other cities to address the ongoing protests. He remained committed to maintaining law and order to prevent further unrest.

However, Governor Gavin Newsom criticized President Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops as “intentionally provocative” and a violation of state sovereignty.

Democratic governors across the country supported Newsom, condemning Trump’s use of the California National Guard as an abuse of power.

Protesters saw the National Guard presence as more of a scare tactic than a means to keep things under control. They expressed worries about tensions escalating and the impact on their community’s safety.

The protests in Los Angeles reflect a growing public backlash against President Trump’s strict immigration policies.

Demonstrators stood in solidarity with migrants seeking a better life in the United States, calling for fairness and empathy to prevail.
