The Territorial Police in Butebo District are currently engaged in a thorough investigation concerning the tragic death of 30-year-old Michael Ocul, also known as “Dr Designer”stemming from accusations of theft.

As per a preliminary police report submitted by H/C Major Mugombeysa at the Butebo Central Police Station, Ocul was reportedly at Kyanyum Market when he allegedly attempted to snatch a woman’s bag.

Eyewitnesses state that the woman, in the process of buying silver fish, had a 10,000 shillings note out when Ocul made his move, prompting her distress calls for assistance from fellow market attendees.

Responding to the woman’s distress, a group of market-goers swiftly mobilized to apprehend Dr Designer after a short pursuit.
