Eddy Kenzo Brands Himself As A Legendary Artiste, Hints About His Legacy

Other shows are as; The Renah’s Kawanda on 5th January and Freedom City on 6th January 2019. It was a decade ago that Kenzo became evident after his breakthrough song “Yanimba” in 2008 featuring Mikie Wine. This marked the beginning of an incredible legacy that has been formed over ten years of undoubted creative output from Kenzo. The anniversary comes at a time where Eddy Kenzo is undeniably one of Uganda’s top artistes, and continues to promote Uganda and East Africa at an International level. Kenzo has become a staple in Uganda’s songbook with popular songs like Stamina, Sitya Loss, Jubilation, Mbilo Mbilo, Nice & Lovely, and Pull Up among others. On his rise to Stardom, Kenzo has broken both local and global records in most musical spheres including but not limited to; • Being the first East African to win the BET award and Nickelodeon Kids choice award, • Releasing the first Ugandan global song “Sitya Loss” that garnered millions of views all around the world and has been shared by prominent celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Puff Daddy, Akon, Ronaldinho, Tevin Campbell, Sanaa Lathan and so many more. • His unique style has made him the first Ugandan to fill stadiums in West Africa As part of the anniversary celebrations, Eddy Kenzo recently released a 20 track album “Roots” honoring his musical journey. About Eddy Kenzo Born in Masaka, Edrisah Musuuza popularly known as Eddy Kenzo is a Ugandan native whose life story is nothing short of magical. Kenzo became evident after his breakthrough song “Yanimba” in 2008 featuring Mikie Wine. 2010 even proved better for him after he released a mega break out song ‘STAMINA”. Stamina drew major attention from music fans over his distinct voice, singing style, dances and penchant for great songwriting which even attracted big government wigs. In 2014, he released ‘Sitya Loss’ a viral sensation that introduced him to an International audience. Since then his extremely good talent has set him as one of the top East African artistes. He has a number of great songs which have hit in clubs, radios, TVs. KENZO has proved even more successful with his albums which he has preceded with successful album launches. At 10 years, he has about 7 albums which he has successfully launched.
