He replied saying that although the concert was huge, it doesn’t come close to his festival.
The Semyekozo singer said that one has to put into context the countryside tours he did prior to the main show. This also took place at Kololo Independence Grounds in 2022 and was filled to capacity. However, it’s not clear how true this is and the statistics he used to base his assessment on.
“I think the Eddy Kenzo Festival was and is the biggest concert ever in the history of Ugandan music. You have to put the regional tours I did too in the picture. The battle between Cindy and Sheebah was also huge but I don’t think it comes close to my festival,” he said.
Meanwhile, the singer also addressed the reason he didn’t attend his ex, Rema’s concert last week. Kenzo who drummed support for her on social media said that he did this to preserve Rema’s day. This is because if he had attended, the focus would have shifted to him instead.
Furthermore, Kenzo who is a huge philanthropist continued to side with Gravity Omutujju over his attacks on Bobi Wine.
The BET Award winner said that someone who claims to care about the people but can’t sacrifice an acre of land for a hospital should keep quiet.
