Ghetto rising superstar singer Alien Skin has claimed that fellow musician Eddy Kenzo is using the Uganda National Musicians Federation to fleece money from the government.
It should be noted that the Federation, unveiled about 2 months ago created quite a storm in the country.
Appearing on Galaxy FM with one of the vice presidents of the federation Spice Diana, Alien Skin asked her about a couple of things. The Sitya Danger asked her if there is money expected from the government. Apparently, the Siri Regular singer claimed not to know anything.
The Fangon boss wondered how an entire vice president can’t know the agenda of the federation she leads. He added that Kenzo and co started the federation on the notion of issues such as copyright. This was to stir up musicians and it indeed did.
Furthermore, Alien Skin pointed how the likes of Moses Matovu fled the federation after learning its real agenda. He also added why Spice Diana is still there after all this fracas.
“If @SpiceDianaUg, the vice president of the musician’s federation doesn’t know what’s happening in the federation, what do you pick from this? @eddykenzoficial is using musicians to get money from the government.”
“The guys that started the federation used things like the copyright so that they get the attention of musicians. If a senior artist like Moses Matovu left the federation and you, Spice Diana, you are still there, I get confused,” said Alien Skin.
In her defense Spice said that she no longer attends the federation meetings because nobody pays her.
