Edith Byanyima distances herself from ”People Power”.
During this week, the police surrounded Byanyima’s home located in Muyenga and completely searched every corner of her house where they finally saw 24 pieces of red napkins. Edith Byanyima claimed that police searched almost the whole house, and the workshop where she safe guards the tools and materials her students uses to train.
Shockingly, the police said that they were searching for harmful weapons and other unlawful materials. Through pretense and being eager to suspect her, they thought that these red cloths were made for wrong activities.
