She revealed that it was Pallaso who called her first. He told her that he was trying to call their father Mzee Gerald Mayanja. She asked him what had happened and he said that he had heard that AK47 had fallen in a bathroom. She woke up her husband and told him what she had been told. They prepared to go to the hospital but got informed the singer had died. She added that it’s now she realizes that her son had already died before she got informed.
Furthermore, she added that it’s still hard to digest that her son passed away. She at times looks at his pictures and fails to believe it.
Additionally, she said that her son’s favorite song was Champion. It was the one that brought him on the scene and made him the dancehall king.
“It’s been 8 years since Emma died but I still can’t believe it. I remember it was Pallaso who called me first telling me that he was calling the dad but he wasn’t picking up. Asking him the matter, he told me AK47 had collapsed and fallen in the bathroom. I woke up the father quickly and we prepared to go but got informed he had died. Some times I look at his pictures in disbelief. I used to enjoy his Champion song. It announced him on the scene and he was still young. But he was on course of becoming the future dancehall king,” Mukyala Prossy Mayanja said.
It should be recalled that Ak47 was the youngest brother of the Mayanja Brothers. Born in 1990, he passed away in 2015 aged just 24. The singer by then was under Jeff Kiwa’s TNS having departed his brother’s Leone Island where he started his career.
Ak47 left behind a pair of twins from his then wife Nalongo Maggie turned Salha who is now married to singer Rabadaba.
