He then rebranded it to X and said that free speech was going to be the core of his new investment. Indeed X has helped to debunk several conspiracies and fallacies in the Israel-Gaza war.
Most nations used to win wars because of spreading propaganda. At a time when other internet platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube have censored pro-Palestinian content, X has provided a voice for the Palestinian people.
However, supporters of Palestine and Palestinians themselves were left worried following the Tesla CEO’s visit to Israel. To make matters worse, he was seen getting a tour of the ‘attacked’ areas with the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
This saw several X prominent accounts call him a ‘clown’ for siding with the oppressor. Others said that he’s finally been bought and now pro-Palestinian speech will be censored.
The businessman took to his X account and said that however unoriginal it seems, he’s wishing for world peace.
“Trite as it may sound, I wish for world peace,” posted Musk.
Apparently, many X users have now implored him to visit Gaza too if he’s for world peace. They argued that this would show his commitment to peace on both sides and not just being bent on the Israeli side.
It should be recalled that X and Elon Musk were accused of being anti-Semitic before the Israel-Gaza war broke out. This saw several big companies such as Disney, Apple, Warner Bros, Marvel leave the platform.
This meant the loss of revenue to the billionaire. Most of these big companies have Jews running them.
