Ethiopia And China Implement Visa-Free Agreement

Recently, Ethiopia and China reached an agreement to promote bilateral relations and cooperation, the visa free policy will be for service and diplomatic passport holders entering each other’s border surprisingly easily.

The policy implementation ensures that Ethiopians and Chinese citizens with valid service and diplomatic passports shall be free from visa requirement for entry into each other’s land for the period of not more than 30 days with effect from 7th December.

The new mutual visa exemption agreement between the two countries will definitely ease people to people exchange and cooperation which has rapidly grown the last ten years, according to La Yifan, the Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia.
