Evelyn Lagu Launches Drive To Assist Kidney Patients

Ailing and struggling singer Evelyn Lagu, has launched an initiative to reach out and assist kidney patients out there. The singer said that this charity event will take place tomorrow Thursday 9th March on the World Kidney Day.

She added that this program is spearheaded by her son together with herself.

The singer appealed to the public to reach out with whatever help they can. This could be in form of material goods such as injections, gauze, food among other things and money too.

According to Lagu, she decided to reach out to these people and help because she knows the difficulties most are going through.

Luckily for her, she has access to some of the basic necessities while the others don’t.

“Me and my son decided to launch this initiative to help out all people who are undergoing the situation that I’m in. We decided to launch a drive and reach out to them on World Kidney Day. Therefore we appeal to the public to help with whatever they can such as money, or other necessities like gauze, injections among other things. I want to give back to them since I know most of these don’t have access because of financial constraints. Luckily for me, the public is able to help me since I’m popular,” said the singer.

It should be recalled that Lagu has been bedridden for a couple of years now due to kidney complications. On a number of occasions, she’s been rumored dead but thankfully she’s still alive.

Meanwhile she revealed that she has plans of making music honoring God henceforth. She also wants to start up an academy training actors and also a movie company.
