Every Word I Utter Is A Headline To You – Muhoozi To Daily Monitor

The first son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has said he is the one who makes headlines for Daily Monitor. According to him, every statement he makes is a headline for them. He described them as a cash strapped newspaper.

“I think every word I utter is a headline for the cash strapped @DailyMonitor. 😊”

Daily Monitor made a headline of what Muhoozi tweeted on 27th October 2022. Muhoozi said he must be president to repay his mum. This statement provoked a lot of feelings among the people especially the opposition.

For a long time, there has been an anticipation that Museveni is planning to parade his son as the next president. With such statements, it makes it hard for any one not to think that this anticipation is true.

However, some members of the public have continuously expressed their disgust over such an idea of Muhoozi being President.

“You sound confident because of your father’s backing but if you compete like others, then other humans will judge you in comparison with others. But because it’s Africa, thus they react to you as such,” a one Al-madii commented.

Meanwhile, looks like father and son have a dislike for Daily Monitor. Museveni has never finished an address without calling Daily Monitor a bad newspaper. According to him, they parade lies as facts to the nation.
