A lot of funny pictures have been circulating online ever since his photos alongside his wife and State Minister for Energy, Hon Phiona Nyamutooro surfaced online with them visiting an oil company.
The singer too appeared in protective gear worn at the site and at one time he was spotted writing something on paper. This sparked all kinds of hilarious comments with some wondering what he was writing down.
It should be noted that netizens make fun of the singer for being illiterate. He dropped out of school in senior two, which means he can therefore read and write.
The singer himself found these interactions funny and posted one on social media and said that it was hilarious. He went ahead to say that this was all done out of jealousy for him.
Speaking about the same issue on TV, the Weekend singer said that people have a right to do whatever they want and he can’t stop them.
Unlike other big figures who take legal action, the BET Award winner said that he won’t. If people cross the line, then karma will one day pay them back. But for now, it’s still humor. Besides, he’s an entertainer and people drawing fun out of him shows how influential he is.
“Sometimes I also find those memes they draw out of me to be funny. I’m an entertainer and that’s one of the ways I can entertain those people. I can’t threaten them with legal action because people have the right to do whatever they want. But if they dare cross the line, then karma will strike back someday sometime,” said Kenzo.
