Finally facebook team moves into their new fantastic 430,000 square foot campus at Menlo Park headquarters in California, dubbed MPK20. The movers came over the weekend, they shifted some Facebook employees’ computers and desks across Highway 84 to their new 430,000-square-foot space.
The office complex was designed by Frank Gehry, it contains modern furniture, artwork and stairwells which looks like so nice, its about 9 acres with one meeting room full of numerous colours aswell as cheese ball pit.
I met Mark Zuckerberg three years ago,” says legendary architect Frank Gehry . “With unbelievable speed for this size of construction project, Mark and his team are moving into their new building headquarters this month.
This new building has what the CEO Mark Zuckerberg described on his personal facebook page as the largest open floor plan in the world reflecting a trend in technology and other industries to boost cooperation among employees.
This building is a contemplation of Facebook’s open and transparent culture, it is LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, and posseses a 9-acre green roof on top of the structure. The building is surrounded by over 400 trees and the roof has a half mile walking loop.
