Apparently, some people have also made it a habit to fabricate letters showing the same to other media houses. Recently, there has been a letter allegedly accusing NTV and the Head of European Union Delegation in Uganda.
However, the only letter that NUP has taken into account was the one sent to NBS. Other letters according to their spokesperson, Joel Senyonyi should be treated with contempt.
“After a protest letter giving feedback to one of the media houses, regime spin masters are now in overdrive as they create fake letters to several entities. Let’s treat these with the contempt they deserve,” Joel wrote.

Much as the NUP camp has come out to clarify this issue, very many people had a number of queries. How did the letter to NBS end up on social media? Wasn’t there a better way of handling such issues outside the public knowledge?
We just can’t tell, probably it was leaked or intentionally put out there for the public to know.
Regardless of what may have happened, the letter issue has had an impact on both NUP and Media especially NBS. Some people sided with NUP and others chose NBS which has caused a ruckus on social media.
Clearly, politics has drawn a lot of lines between the public, and it’s not about to get done, at least until the swearing ceremony.
