Family Of Late Pastor Yiga Embroiled In Battle Over His Estate, One Widow Wants A Lions Share

The late Revival Church founder, Pastor Yiga Abizzayo’s family is apparently battling to get a hold of his wealth. The late pastor’s eldest son Andrew Jjengo was left in charge of all his father’s assets.

He was also assigned the role of looking after his late father’s children. It however seems the youthful pastor is facing resistance from some of the family members.

This has seen Pastor Jjengo move to have his father’s assets divided into shares for each child. Jjengo said that he always thought he would prevent his family from bickering but this has failed due to the different interests.

“I always thought that in case my father dies, I won’t allow my family to disintegrate over properties. This seems to have failed because I realized if you don’t grow up together, people will always differ from you. I have tried my level best but it seems I have failed and that’s why I decided to involve courts of law. I want the properties to be shared amongst us so that everyone can fend for themselves,” Jjengo said.

This came after one of his father’s late widows ran to court last week which saw Jjengo arrested.

The woman claimed that the pastor owns nothing on Yiga’s property but has failed to take care of her daughter. She added that she has to be given 4million shillings per month to look after her daughter.

Jjengo however said that this demand was ridiculous because he has over 10 children to look over equally.

He added that this woman on top of that wanted him to pay her rent and build for her a house after two years.

Some of the late’s children however sided with Jjengo saying they are taken care of . The family will hold a meeting next week to determine the fate of Yiga’s assets.
