Everyone including the fans were not on the troubled Star TV presenter Ibrah Mukasa’s side when he shared his apology on social media.
According to revelers especially Lydia Jazmine’s fans, they claim that he apologized to Facebook in-laws but not to the ‘Masuuka‘ Hit maker. This is because Jazmine might not even be aware that he apologized if he uses social media.
This is the apology statement he shared on Facebook.
“On Monday June 29, 2020 during the Bwakedde – Morning show hosted on Star TV, I made utterances against Artiste Lydia Jazmine that seem degrading, appalling and regrettable.Am deeply sorry for offending you (Lydia Jazmine). As my followers know, I never intend to attack any person(s) in any fraternity but sometimes we get things hastily and spectacularly wrong as it befell with Lydia Jazmine. There is nothing more important to me than a thriving music industry and is why I tiressly contribute to the fraternity though this time round it’s regrettable that I attacked and offended the Person of Lydia Jazmine. Jazmine is incredibly talented, humble and likeable and honestly, deep down I would never wish bad things to her or any one for that matter and is why I wish to extend a genuine and public apology to Ms. Lydia Jazmine, her family, management, the music fraternity and all Ugandans for the harm caused. In this business, all we can do is own up to our mistakes when they happen.” Ibrah K apologised.
“Ssebo apology is seen but when you attacked her it was live on Star TV, please go back to the same program and do the apology. Surely among all people this couldn’t have come from you for God’s sake. It’s so hurting not only to Lydia but to us all your fans and her fans too. Please do it on TV if it’s real apology.” His fan called Babeto Mukisa commented.
Even Iryn Namubiru criticized Ibrah for sharing his apology on social media instead of apologizing live on TV just like he did when he attacked the artistes.
