Fans Mock Dre Cali, Ask Him To Stop Tying Himself On Nigerian Celebrities Who Don’t Know Him

Local singer, Dre Cali took to his Facebook page to congratulate Nigerian singer Wizkid upon his Grammy nomination. This didn’t go well with some of his followers who quickly pounced on him.

“Congratulations my friend Wizkid upon your Grammy nomination,” Dre Cali posted.

However, Ugandan social media users are some of those who don’t want to know who you are. They will always drag you for whatever you post regardless of who you are.

This is what happened to Mpaka Records singer Dre Cali as fans asked him to stop tying himself on people that don’t know him.

“Are you sure that he’s your friend oba just wesiba kubalunji,” a fan asked him.

“Lord, I wonder if Wizkid knows him,” another questioned.

“Dre don’t be like Chosen Becky,” a fan advised him in regards to the Bankuza singer who usually refers to international celebrities like her pals.

“Your fried since when?,” another asked him

“Mbu my friend, I have been your friend for long, when have you ever posted me,” a fan took it personal.

This saw his boss and fellow singer Ykee Benda ask him to sleep a bit because he was dreaming.

“Dre my brother, can you please go and sleep, please sleep a bit,” Ykee Benda joked.

It seems Ugandans can’t take a light joke on social media and are always ready to put you to the sword regardless of the content.

Some have even gone ahead to send some celebrities DM’s on why they don’t reply to their comments.
