The former presidential candidate invited a select number of musicians last week to his home.
Fefe Bussi said that they were only invited to converse just as friends of Bobi Wine and nothing much.
“We were only invited to have a casual conversation with Bobi Wine just as his friends. It was a great feeling to be recognized as his friend because he’s an entire president.” Fefe Bussi said.
The Bad Segu rapper added that he had gone to Gulu to get a song and not money instead. Fefe Bussi was among the contingent that got criticized for going to Gulu to meet General Saleh. Some also dubbed them beggars.
Shortly after the journey, Fefe Bussi recorded a song titled “Mbozzi ye Gulu” which detailed all that happened on the maiden trip to the north.
He then said that at Bobi Wine’s place, they had gone for nothing apart from a get together.
“I had not gone to Gulu to get money but rather a song. At Bobi’s, it was just a mutual conversation.” Fefe Bussi added.
He was then asked if they talked about the Gulu saga but he said that they didn’t talk much concerning Gulu.
The rapper said that the only thing Bobi Wine talked to them about was of how much influential they are in the country.
He told them to continue using their voice to fight for the oppressed. This in turn would help the masses to stand with them incase they face the same.
The singer becomes the latest musician to deny having gone to Gulu to pick money after Kabako did the same earlier.
