The Lock singer who launched the ticket sales last week decided to step up in seeing that these tickets get done. Fik decided to go to St Balikuddembe Market aka Owino where his story began prior to music.
The singer appealed to the vendors to come to his concert and support him as he’s one of them.
Fik revealed that he used to sell merchandise from this market before he found fame. However, he added that he had spent about 3 years without coming to the market.
“I want to appeal to all of you to come to my concert and support me. We shall celebrate and have a good time together. Besides I’m one of you because I used to work here. I had no stall but would come with my clothes, drop them here and start selling. However, I had spent about 3 years without coming here,” said Fik Fameica.
His door-to-door events finally paid off as he got to some clothing store that bought tickets worth 2 million shillings.
The only last person to hawk their tickets was Spice Diana during her first concert at Freedom City. It really paid off as people flocked the concert in huge numbers.
Having tasted the pain of a concert flopping, it’s understandable why Fik Fameica is hawking his tickets. The singer despite being one of the current hitmakers is not guaranteed of instant success.
He had his show about 3 years ago massively flop.
