Musician Shafiq Dangote, popularly known as Fik Gaza, has come out to refute statements made by fellow artiste Pallaso regarding his rise to fame. Pallaso has been boasting about single-handedly transforming Fik Gaza’s music career, alleging that he rescued him from a life of crime and substance abuse, and even helped him rehabilitate after a prison term.
However Fik Gaza gained massive recognition with his hit track “Banana,” featuring the renowned artist Jose Chameleone.
Despite Pallaso’s claims that he orchestrated the collaboration as a birthday gift to Fik Gaza, covering the video expenses, and appearing in it for added exposure, Fik has vehemently refuted these assertions.
Fik Gaza sets the record straight
Expressing his discontent with Pallaso’s self-praise, Fik Gaza has dismissed the claims as unfounded and inaccurate.
He attributes his success to Chameleone’s support and accuses the media of perpetuating Pallaso’s falsehoods. Fik boldly states, “Chameleone is the one who extended a helping hand to me,” and criticizes Pallaso for lacking substance in his words.
The ongoing feud between Fik and Pallaso traces back to an earlier conflict involving Pallaso and Alien Skin.
Reports indicate that the rift escalated further this year, with Pallaso expressing surprise at Fik Gaza’s verbal attacks, having previously considered him a friend. The once-cherished friendship now appears to have soured beyond repair.
