The former NTV news anchor rose to stardom in the early 2000s working on WBS TV on a teens show. In 2006 she ventured into radio thus working with Capital FM.
It’s here that she became a staple food for most listeners doing the AM-PM show lasting 16 years at the Kisementi-based radio station.
Earlier this week, Flavia revealed that she was bringing a climax to her 16 year reign on the program.
This left some of her fans sad but she assured them that she would be back sooner than they thought.
And indeed it didn’t even take a week than her being named the new presenter of the Desert Island Discs.
This program happens every Sunday on Capital FM and tells real life inspiring stories.
And just like the heartbroken listeners of Flavia, Henrie was among them.
“I was so sad about the news of Flavia Tumusiime leaving radio. I grew up listening to that lady on radio. She really used to speak to me through radio,” said Mr Henrie.
The Galaxy FM radio personality also gave an insight about his radio career.
Before joining Galaxy FM, he had never done a gossip show. He had only done a morning show, a drive show and late night show.
However before he even started, Henrie said that he had already started getting criticism because of the way he looked.
Additionally, as if throwing shade at Geosteady, with whom they have all dated and parted ways with Prima Kardashi, Mr Henrie said that he can’t talk about his private issues publicly. The moment one does this, then they have already failed as a man.
