Former NBS TV Journalist, Daniel Lutaaya Says Safe Boda Night Services Are Lacking

Daniel Lutaaya, a former NBS journalist, has expressed his displeasure about the night services of Safe Boda. He said he ordered a safe Boda during the night but he didn’t get in touch with his rider.

This wasn’t the case though, the rider started the journey and his money was chopped from his mobile money because in the system it reflected that they were on a trip already.

“A @SafeBoda guy has come around, started the trip and rode off without me. Now I can’t stop his trip, he can drive around endlessly blowing my cashless account to zero and the customer care helpline says “sorry, we are closed at the moment”

“I think any business that accepts to take customers at night, should have a customer care night shift too,” he added.

Meanwhile, the safe Boda managing personnel promised to look into his issue and reprimand their rider as required.

“Hi Daniel, that was really unfortunate and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Confirm the number you use for the app as well as the trip details of the journey so that we can make the necessary adjustments and have this rider penalized for his misconduct.”

Well, like any other online product, Safe Boda has its shortcomings. However, some people are appreciative especially with the way they apparently respond when an issue comes up.
