Fortebet Gives COVID-19 Task Force Huge Boost

Uganda’s gaming giant Fortebet has joined the rest of Uganda in offering the much needed support to the Covid-19 task force with a huge boost. Fortebet made its donation under the umbrella association of betting companies.

This donation was handed over to the government of Uganda and received by Minister Mary Carol Okurut. 23 tonnes of maize and beans were donated.

Explaining why the gaming giant came up, the company executive manager, Bernard Rwakihembo said that, “We feel so sorry for everyone in Uganda and across the world. We are aware that Covid-19 has ravaged every component of life and therefore many people need a lot of financial and psycho-social support.

This is the reason we have joined in helping feed Ugandans.”

This is however not the first time Fortebet is donating to Ugandans, the company has donated lots of items to different hospitals upcountry, it donated life jackets to several landing sites across the country and so much more.
