Fresh Kid Denies Performing At A Bar Despite Being Spotted

Young rapper Fresh Kid and his father Fresh Daddy have denied performing at a late night bar despite being spotted at an event of MC Kats.

Fresh Daddy said that this was just a premiere of his son’s new song. It was not a performance because the law doesn’t permit them to perform at certain hours and days.

Fresh Daddy further said that his son has to concentrate on his talent too and not just school only. This is because it’s music that got him even the bursary he has at Kampala Parents. Therefore without being on top in music, everything is bound to be lost.

“The video that surfaced of Fresh Kid performing was not a concert. It was rather a premiere of his new song ‘Fear None’.

He can’t perform beyond certain hours and he only starts performing on Friday Night because he has no school on Saturday. Then he stops on Sunday night since he has school on Monday.

He has to also put efforts into his music career to remain on top because it was music that got him there. In case he fails, he can lose everything including the bursary,” Frsh Daddy said.

Fresh Kid on the other hand talked about his life at school which he finds to be fun. Being a prefect of sports, Fresh Kid said that he’s there to guide and not rule others.

Furthermore, he said that his new song ‘Fear None’ is in an old skool format. This is to send a message that he’s no longer a 7 year old but has now grown.

“Life is just fantastic at school. My fellow learners have shown me love at school since day one. And being a prefect, I’m just there to guide my fellow learners and not a ruler.

My new song Fear none is on a ‘Kikadde’ beat and so is the video. It’s to show that I’m now doing serious music and no longer a 7 year old kid,” Fresh Kid said.

Fresh Kid was barred from performing from certain places during week days by Minister Nakiwala Kiyingi. This has somehow dwindled his career but his father Fresh Daddy attributed this to the recent pandemic and said that they are back and stronger.
