Fresh Kid has fired up the Ugandan music industry with incredible music performances whenever called to entertain revelers, but minister Nakiwala Kiyingi insists that it is a violation of Children Act and other rules.

During an interview with Daily monitor, the minister who has been criticized a lot especially on social media said she wasn’t against the boy’s talent, but not to be used to breach the law.

According to the law, the boy of that age is not supposed to be used to generate income simply because he cannot obtain a TIN number for payment of taxes and he cannot run a bank account, all I can do is to invite him for counseling and make sure he gets back to school, that’s all’’she said.

The government will also make sure that Fresh Kid is fully examined and not subjected to drugs and whether his brain is not affected by stress of music shows,’said minister.
