Friends Of Mowzey Radio Organise Bonfire To Celebrate Him

Musicians have organised a bon-fire event today at Kagga where the late Mowzey Radio was buried. The purpose of this event is to celebrate the years Radio spent on earth and the impact he created in the music industry.

It’s now 5 years since the Legend passed on. The fact though that his fellow musicians are still upholding him till now means he sung beyond his lips.

Many artists have confirmed their presence at this event. They include, Weasel, Chameleon, B2C, Mesach, Ykee Benda among others. It’s going to be a transnight event where songs of Radio will be sung.

The event will not end today. Tomorrow, friends of Radio are expected to be there too. This is because today, it’s mainly artists who will be there with the family of Radio.

Radio died on the 1st February 2018 after sustaining a head injury. He was involved in a bar fight with someone who hit his head on the floor.

Godfrey Wamala, a bouncer at the bar where Radio died from was charged in court for murder. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison, something the family didn’t love at all.

However, Radio’s mum said, they should have sentenced Wamala to life imprisonment.

Meanwhile, since the death of Radio, weasel has been struggling with his music. He has not made much impact personally in the music industry. This further forced many to say Radio was the money maker.

Aside from all that, Radio is clearly a legend people will not forget easily. People are celebrating him since last week every where.
