Gulu has lately become a tense zone for the music industry with musicians frequently meeting the military general there.
They have an aim of lobbying the government to support the music industry amidst the pandemic.
However, music promoters led by Abitex, Bajjo, Balaam, KT promotions, Mutima and Lubba are in Gulu too to meet Gen Salim Saleh.
While addressing the press, Abitex said that they wanted to meet Gen Saleh and avail their plans of holding the festive season concerts in December.
However, according to Full Figure these are old greedy men who have never been satisfied with what they have.
An angry Full Figure told them to know that music is not the only sector in the country.
She also said that they were recently given 5 billion shillings but it’s funny that they have headed back.
Full Figure further went on a rant attacking Balaam who she accused of greed and selfishness.
“I wonder why these greedy old men keep flocking Gulu. You were recently given money about 5 billion shillings to share and almost everyone took Ugx300 million. Why can’t you be satisfied. Uganda does not have only the music sector. There is this Balaam who is very evil. All he does is beef others and make them fail.” Full figure said.
She went ahead to say that there are people like doctors who are giving their lives on the line in the COVID pandemic.
It surprised Full Figure that people like Abitex and Bajjo who claim to be NUP supporters are in Gulu.
She asked them why they hadn’t instead gone to meet chairman Nyanzi.
Full Figure warned saying that 2026 is not far and the elections will be around the corner.
This is because most of the youths who campaigned for NRM have not yet been paid.
Some are even still nursing injuries sustained in the elections.
