The transport licensing Board ( TLB ) under ministry of works and transport has suspended the Gaagaa bus company operating license for a period of thirty days following several issues.

Gaagaa buses have all along been having issues regarding fatal road accidents, this bus company is well known for employing careless drivers who have in the past caused several road accidents and the recent one occurred on 25th May in Kiryandongo district in which more than twenty people lost their lives.
According to the secretary of Transport Licensing Board, Katushabe Winstone, the board sat and decided to suspend Gaagaa bus license for a period of 30 days until several issues are fixed, according to Nile Post.
The company chauffeurs should go through a beginners driving course just to make sure they have the ability to drive a 67 Seater vehicle before they’re allowed to resume their tasks.
We shall continue with the operation to ensure that all bus companies comply with the updated measures which involves installation of motor gadgets along with the GPS tools in each bus and other requirements on top of that,’’said Katusabe.
We have suspended Gaagaa bus operating license for the first time following similar incidences which happened way back in 2012.
