The General through his Twitter page has revealed that many people have been asking him who the descendants of the Bachwezi are.
He, therefore, decided to come out with a list that only had four people in it. Surprisingly all the names he mentioned are those related to him directly and indirectly.
“Some of you asked me who the descendants of the Bachwezi were, well, now I can answer… General Yoweri Museveni, Prince Fred Rubereza, General Fred Rwigyema and General Salim Saleh! They are the direct descendants of the Bachwezi!,” Muhoozi tweeted.
Muhoozi in a series of recent tweets came out to reveal that nobody can topple his father’s government. He has also continuously warned all those thinking of this that they will be dealt with severely.
This had some people even joking that Uganda will soon be renamed to Ugachwezi.
The first son also went ahead to sympathize with the Tigrayans in Ethiopia. Muhoozi a few months ago also revealed that the Ethiopian Tigrayans were related to him and his family.
He also referred to the Cushites who are the forefathers of the Tigrayans in Ethiopia and Batutsi in Rwanda. The military commander said that those who committed atrocities on the Tigrayans will pay for them. He however implored then to listen to his father’s words.
“I urge my great and brave brothers in the Tigrayan Defence Forces to listen to the words of General Yoweri Museveni! I am as angry as you and I support your cause. Those who raped our Tigrayan sisters and killed our brothers must be punished!,” Muhoozi added.
