GNL Zamba Confesses Over Drug Addiction

The Legendary rapper Earnest Nsimbi known by his stage name names GNL Zamba is one of the few Luga Flow rappers who already became an inspiration to many youths in the country.

Back in 2007, GNL Zamba broke into the music industry with numerous hit songs that hyped Ugandans and uplifted the music industry at that time.

The Baboon Forest co-founder Zamba is recognized for uplifting rap and Luga flow style both locally and Internationally. His songs like ‘Koyi Koyi’ used to make headlines on radio stations and Television stations across the country.

He later began dating an American based musician Mariam Tamar and immediately after getting off stage from the MTN concert show at that time, Zamba immediately traveled back with Tamar to United States, where the two later got married to each-other in 2019 and are happily staying together.

Besides his biography, while appearing on an interview hinting on Qute Kaye’s situation, he revealed that he also used marijuana before.

“To be honest, I have used drugs before and it was marijuana but I should count myself lucky because I didn’t love the way it made me feel. I took it because some people where encouraging me to but it wasn’t really for me,” he confessed.
