Apparently, this was done after a copyright claim was issued by Bobi Wine’s team indicating that it had content similar to his Kiwani song. Gravity, however, believes that the Firebase boss did this out of fear.
This is because the rapper is going around unmasking Bobi Wine and creating awareness of how fake he is. Additionally, the singer said that Bobi Wine now fears his own shadow.
Besides, the Malangajja singer added that the Specioza singer has done several songs of other musicians but they have never been criticized.
Read his rant below:
“He now fears his own shadow. Just like he sang that they fear what they don’t know and hate what they fear, it’s the case with him now. He pulled down the song because he feared the message in it. But you can’t play games in people’s brains for long. Why didn’t he let the song get airplay if he’s not scared of being unmasked? He also redid songs of the likes of Philly Bongole Lutaaya, Paul Kafeero and spoilt them. Nobody did anything to him,” said the singer.
Meanwhile, Gravity said that he’s going to release another song with the same message on YouTube today. From Firebase’s point of view, Producer, Dan Magic said that anyone who wants to redo Bobi Wine’s songs is welcome.
However, they won’t tolerate any disrespect especially when it’s targeted towards Bobi Wine. But Gravity doesn’t see things this way.
