Hajji Haruna Mubiru Rallies Politicians To Help Ailing Singer Adam Mulwana

Band singer Hajji Haruna Mubiru has rallied several politicians to come and help ailing singer Adam Mulwana. Mulwana rose to stardom prior to the 2016 presidential elections.

He sang a song for FDC president Dr Kiiza Besigye Toka Kwa Bara Bara which became viral. However, he’s now sadly battling liver complications.

The singer suspects that he was poisoned by an anonymous lady living abroad.  Apparently, this lady requested to meet him when she came to Uganda.

On meeting at a certain hangout spot in Kampala, he found she had already ordered a pizza and eaten slices. She told him the rest was his and ate it. Since then, his life has never been the same.

Mulwana who has closely worked with Haruna in the past is now critically ill. It is here that Haruna rallied other artists to come out and help him.

The Ekitooke Kifansalira said that some big politicians too have forsaken the singer. They should come and help with whatever penny they have. This will help to facilitate his transfer to a better health facility.

“Adam Mulwana is critically ill and I have decided to be there for him because he has also been there for me severally in the past. However, the people that he helped in the past have not helped him much. He mentioned some people such as Ingrid Turinawe, Dr Besigye among others. It’s high time these people also come out and help him. Musicians such as Bebe Cool, Eddy Kenzo should also come and help with what they can,” Haruna said.

Kawempe North MP Hon Muhammad Ssegirinya also promised the singer some help. Ssegirinya promised to hold a car wash in his constituency.

The funds that are raised will be used to help the singer. According to the MP, the singer could have been treated at his hospital if he hadn’t collapsed.
