In a twist of events, the two were reunited in a dialogue by the party’s hierarchy in Kamwokya. Now speaking about the incident, the MP said that he was bitter and shouldn’t have said the words he said. He probably went overboard but he’s now forgiven his party deputy spokesperson. Besides, he can now eat food and feel well as everything is good with his soul.
Mufumbiro is yet to comment on this situation since Ssegirinya’s scathing rebuke.
“I think I went a bit overboard with my remarks about Mufumbiro. But we have been reconciled and everything is okay between us. I have forgiven him and have no grudge against him. My words were probably too heavy but it was out of anger and frustration. But for now, I feel light and even when I eat, I feel a bit satisfied unlike before,” the MP said.
This is not the first time that members in the youngest political party in the country are getting disagreements. Some have been able to be tamed while others spiralled out of control. The aggrieved and dissatisfied members ended up leaving the party.
