Hyper Kids Africa Over The Moon After Participating In America’s Got Talent

Uganda’s dance group, Hyper Kids Africa became the second kids dance group from the East African country to participate in the America’s Got Talent talent search.

According to their manager, the Hyper Kids Africa received a message from the show’s organizers asking them if they would like to participate in this year’s 19th edition. They accepted but dragged their feet thinking it might be scammers.

However, they started being asked for the proper documentation which they sent in. And when everything was finalized, they finally went to the US.

According to the group’s manager, they were given the necessary terms and conditions. These included not revealing the uniform used or posting any content before the AGT official channel released any.

Meanwhile, for the prize money, you’re only paid if you reach the semis and finals.

The kids also got to tell what they found so special in the US. “Cars are not washed like in Uganda because they are ever clean,” said one kid.

“I had never been on moving staircases. It was my first time and it amazed me,” another said.

“The country is so cold because they have ACs both indoors and outdoors. However, soon as I stepped out of the plane at Entebbe airport, it was so hot despite it being at night,” another kid said.

Apparently, they had also applied to participate in the Michael Jackson auditions but the reply came late. When it did, the AGT had called them too, so they had to cancel one show and it had to be the Michael Jackson one.

For now, they will have to wait for what comes out of the pageant auditions and judges. Previously, it has been the Ghetto Kids who participated in this talent show. They performed exceptionally well as they ended up in the semis.
