Swangz Avenue singer Zawedde Priscilla also known as Azawi has declared that she is officially in a relationship. She said so in an interview with NBS After5 show saying she doesn’t want men to keep disturbing her in terms of love.

In Uganda’s music industry, a few ladies talk about their relationships in public. Only those that have children say they are in a relationship.

Others who haven’t given birth say they are single all the time. They get scared of losing their male fans for that reason.

For Azawi, it is very different when it comes to her relationship with her mysterious boyfriend. She cleared the air saying she is in a relationship and she has been in it for some years.

The talented singer joined the music industry professionally in 2019 under Swangz Avenue. She said she was already having her boyfriend even before fame.

After becoming famous the relationship didn’t change although a lot in the relationship changed. However, with someone who knew her before she became famous, they had to keep pushing the relationship, and up to now, they are still strong together.

“I don’t know why people keep asking me about my relationship. The truth is that I am in a relationship. I have feelings like any other person and I also have love. Being a celebrity kind of affected my relationship but having been together for so long we kept strong,” she said.

The singer said her boyfriend doesn’t want to be known by the public.
