Struggling and faded singer Dr Propa has come out to claim that he never asked anyone for help. The singer a few months ago came out in the media detailing the struggles he was going through.

He narrated that he had lost everything and was on the verge of losing his life too.

Without a doubt, the situation looked so bad, but luckily for him, several well-wishers came out with different forms of help.

This included a monetary one and his helpers included some fellow musicians. Speaking in a TV interview, the singer said that when he came out, he never asked for any financial assistance.

All he wanted was for fans to embrace him and allow him back on stage to perform.

So far things are going quite well for him. He revealed how he has been to different gigs. Besides, he’s now going to venture into singing more at weddings and other functions.

Additionally, the Omwana Wo Mwavu singer said that the reason he came out was also partly to highlight the struggles musicians go through. He said that musicians are not immortal and also have their problems.

“I did not come out in the media asking for financial assistance. Anyone who has me on record with me begging for money should produce that evidence. All I wanted was for people to embrace me like they did before and allow me back on stage. I had been off stage for seven years and missed doing what I loved best. Besides, I wanted people to see that musicians are not immortal and also have their own struggles,” he said.
