Hajjati Kulthum Nabunya has revealed that it wasn’t her who brought social media starlet Pretty Nicole into the media. This follows backlash from some social media users directed towards the Hajjati. Kulthum facilitated Pretty Nicole to get back to school.
It should be noted that the teenager has become sort of a public nuisance ever since she hit stardom at the beginning of this year. This was after she got battered by her friends who accused of trying to seduce her best pal’s boyfriend.
She was taken back to school and ran away from there citing lack of academic knowledge in class. Nicole then revealed that she wanted to be a singer and going to school was a waste of time.
Over the weekend, Kulthum through her charity organization helped Nicole to go back to school. And she promised to study hard and even get a degree.
Some of the public members such as singer Ykee Benda criticized the Hajjati for bringing the girl into camera. He said that if she’s to be helped, there is no need for media attention. The Hajjati, however said that it wasn’t her who brought Nicole into the camera eye. He found her already there and did what she could. Besides, her NGO helps over 600 learners but none has ever been thrown into the camera eye. She added that people such as the Mpaka Records boss should get someone to cater for and then comment.
“I didn’t bring that girl into the limelight. She was already there when I opted to help her. My organization has over 600 learners that we help but none of them is known publicly. So people like Ykee Benda should just go and look for people to help,” she said.
Meanwhile, she also revealed that she gave birth to a baby boy for her husband, Akram Gumisiriza. The baby is known as Akram Junior.
