I Don’t Believe In Celebrating Valentine – Pastor Bugingo

Pastor Bugingo has said that on a personal basis, he doesn’t believe in celebrating valentine. He said this while preaching at his church in Kikoni. According to him, today is the day people get AIDS the most.

This is because apparently, they are in adultery-related activities. Bugingo says this day is only out to make people promiscuous, otherwise, why else would it be there?

Bugingo even told his congregation that as others are looking forward to being loved only on 14th February, he is loved throughout the year. So for him, today is like any other day because he is always in love with his wife.

He actually encouraged his followers to take him as an example and not limit their love to just one day of the year because it is not good for their marriage.

Pastor Bugingo is not the first religious leader to speak against this day.

Most religious leaders are so against this day, especially the way it is blessed. Most of them say, people simply become wild on this day and even create a lot of issues for their marriages.

It is even worse when marrieds decide to go out of wedlock in the name of having fun which has separated several families.

The main issue is not on the day but on the way it is celebrated. Religious leaders say this day is nowhere in the Bible or Quaran. No wonder people do as they desire because no one guides them on how to celebrate.

Much as Catholics celebrate St. Valentine’s on this day, you can count the people who go to church for the same cause.
