I Don’t Know Manager Roger – Vampino Says As He Tells Managers To Stop Overshadowing Their Artistes

Many people are always willing to do anything to clinch the limelight and so seems the case with Manager Roger. With artists being in the camera eye almost on a daily basis, a lot of their entourage also gets the chance to be seen.

However, veteran dancehall singer Elvis Kirya aka Vampino thinks this is wrong. The Kwekunyakunya singer said that managers should stop trying to overshadow their artistes. He added that he doesn’t know Spice Diana’s manager, Roger.

The singer says that it’s not his role to know the manager. He however knows the artists by names and does know Spice Diana.

Vampino further says that he can only know the manager if he’s contacted for business.

According to the singer, these managers should stay in the backyard. And not try to steal the show off their singers. He cited the likes of Burnaboy, Wizkid whose managers are not known yet they are so big.

“To be honest I don’t know manager Roger and I have never heard of him. But I know Spice Diana. I do know the artists although I don’t know their managers. Its not my job to know them unless they are going to pay me. These should keep away from the public domain more frequently and stay in the back yard. For instance how many know Burnaboy or Wizkid’s manager yet they are some of the biggest artists on the Continent. So these managers should not take it beyond,” Vampino said.

The singer also talked about the pending UMA elections revealing that he already finished voting.

Vampino said that he thought they were even already done with the voting process. This was after finishing his process virtually days ago.

Further, the singer also addressed the issue of the mode of voting. King Saha’s camp has been advocating for a physical election. The board however says voting will be virtual due to limited resources.

Vampino said that nobody really has time to come to line up behind anyone’s back. This is unless they want to get a handful of artistes as many have tight schedules and others come from far.
