Grenade joined the music industry at a young age. By the time he started singing, he was still in high school.
With the money in the pipeline, the singer decided to drop out of school in form four. This was all to focus on the music and fulfill his dreams of being an artist.
The ‘Nkuloga’ hitmaker said he was lucky enough to get a song that went viral and made him break through the music industry.
Although Grenade got into some situations with sugar mummies that took his career backwards, he said education had nothing to do with it.
According to the talented singer, education didn’t help him in anything especially in his career. However, he doesn’t want the young people who look up to him to drop out.
He said education is good but it doesn’t guarantee anyone a good life. Grenade added on that every person has a destination and his didn’t include education in it.
“I don’t encourage young people to drop out of school. I don’t regret dropping out though. In everything I have, education hasn’t contributed anything. I dropped in form four but I am grateful with everything I have. That’s why I don’t regret dropping out,” Grenade Official
It should be remembered that most Ugandan artistes don’t have high education qualifications. Most of the artists are high school drop outs.
