Popular and local stand-up comedian Patrick Salvador Idringi has bragged that even in his ugliness, he has achieved a lot of things.

His statement followed the recent Twitter fight between US-based Ugandan journalist, Bahati Remmy and the first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

In a series of exchanges on social media, Muhoozi branded Remmy an ugly woman. He added that her ugliness is a thing that can’t be changed no matter how time revolves.

Since then Remmy hasn’t gotten over it and has continued to make a case out of it. And neither has the Muhoozi brigade let the issue rest because they keep taunting her with it.

Charging into the conversation, Salvador revealed that he’s been called ugly many times. He further wondered where he would be if he were always bothered by those who call him ugly.

Apparently, Salvador embraced his ‘ugliness.’ And it is through this that he’s achieved beautiful things. Besides this is all that matters, the achievements.

Humorously, he added that even the following morning, he would still wake up ugly. Therefore, embracing and appreciating oneself is the only way to overcome such bullies because nobody is going to babysit you because you don’t look ‘beautiful/handsome.’

“I’ve been called Ugly many many times, if I ever got bothered every time someone called me ugly, oba where would I be? … In my Ugliness, I’ve achieved and I’m doing beautiful things and I think that’s what matters .. Otherwise even tomorrow I’ll wake up still ugly,” said Salvador.

His followers jumped in with different opinions. Some said that he’s a man and of course, men rarely care about physical compliments.

Well, that only shows that the boy-child is always on his own all in the name of ‘boys don’t care about being bullied.’

To compensate on his “ugliness”, Salvador meanwhile is married to a very beautiful woman, Daphne Franckstock.
