Over the years, there have always been rumors of how the self-styled Firebaby was on the verge of exiting the Makindye-based music label.
Her father even at one time went on a rant through the news demanding the label let his daughter pursue a solo career.
Nwagi however says that she’s still comfortable and despite some disagreements along the way, they always sort them out.
“Honestly, I’m still comfortable in Swangz Avenue and I have never thought of quitting. We do have disagreements like anyone else because even if it’s your father or mother, you can’t fail to argue but you sort them out amicably. I have no complaints there and it’s all about being mature and knowing what you want,” she said.
Nwagi who was appearing on NBS After 5 also talked about her social media wars with fans. Nwagi said that she no longer clashes with fans on Facebook because it’s tiresome.
For Snapchat, she keeps quiet because people there can go way overboard with what they post. It’s on Instagram that she’s always ready to bomb her critics.
She also revealed that social media comments were depressing. Especially when she had just joined the music industry. She however now gained confidence and can face off with anyone.
“When I had just come, I used to actually be depressed, I also used to cry. I’m such an emotional person that back then, I used to be depressed by these negative comments on social media. But right now they no longer hurt because I gained confidence.”
Nwagi also revealed that she no longer hires housemaids. She cooks her own food and doesn’t eat in restaurants anymore.
The Musawo singer was under the spotlight some time ago after she thumped her maid to a pulp over using her water bottle
