“I love Your Music But I Can’t Support You”- Gen Otafiire Tells Off Bobi Wine

Maj Gen Otafiire, told off Bobi Wine while speaking to NRM supporters in Ankole region. He admitted that he is a big fan of Bobi’s music and he loves it but he doesn’t  support him becoming president. He plainly said he didn’t go to fight in the bush just for Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine to become his leader.

Obviously, no one was surprised by this because Kahinda Otafiire is an NRM diehard. Then as usual his arrogance in speech always comes in handy. We all know Gen Otafiire for being arrogantly open with what he feels from the depths of his heart. He also didn’t differ so much from Museveni who is always accusing Bobi Wine of having foreign support. He said they know he is being paid to disorganize the peace of the country.

Even when Besigye was on top of his political career, accusations of him being sponsored by foreign countries were spread all over. Not that it is impossible but is it the only means by which any strong politician can oppose the leading party in power at that time. That line has actually become so cliche that if it were true about anyone, no one would believe it.

Every one is entitled to their opinion, but the greatest mistake is to underestimate the power of your opponent. So many times, all efforts by Bobi Wine have been downplayed. Yet they have slowly made him famous and taken him to the top. At the end of it, we can’t wait to see 14th January 2021 will bring.
